AI Transparency Policy
Version 1.1 · Effective 11 September 2026
7.1 Purpose
Bible Grow uses AI to support selected user experiences and internal operations. This Policy explains those uses and the role of human oversight.
7.2 User-facing AI
Open Your Heart and related Scripture exploration features use AI to help users find passages, understand biblical themes, structure study, and reflect on questions. For a signed-in user who gives the separate Open Your Heart consent, the remote guidance path uses DeepSeek; without that consent, the app uses its local guidance path. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a user’s circumstances.
7.3 Editorial assistance
AI assists internal drafting of weekly Cell plans, Bible quizzes, devotionals, study plans, discussion guides, educational articles, summaries, search optimization, and categorization. Public editorial resources do not publish automatically and undergo human review before publication.
7.4 Moderation assistance
AI may help detect spam, abuse, unsafe content, and patterns requiring attention. Human moderators make final enforcement decisions affecting users.
7.5 Spiritual and professional limits
AI is not Scripture, God, divine revelation, a pastor, or a substitute for church fellowship. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or emergency services.
7.6 User choices and responsibility
Users should compare AI-assisted responses with Scripture, use sound judgment, and seek qualified human guidance for serious matters. Users should not submit unnecessary sensitive information.
